The ribbon has been cut to launch the $420 million, 570-home Sunny Heights development in Orewa.
Also known as the West Hoe Heights Special Housing Area, the 42 hectare Changda International NZ residential development will see 253 detached houses, 142 zero-lot dwellings, 93 terraced homes and 82 apartments.
Sunny Heights was the second SHA launched by Changda International last week after the Chinese-owned company celebrated the start of its Pacific Gardens project in Manukau on Thursday, which will see up to 1100 homes built.
